khouse & Wine Bar (17400 Haggerty Road, Livonia, Mich.; 734-542-9463) will be hosting the Shades of Pink Foundation as part of its “Summer of Giving” charity series, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Friday August 12, 2011. The event will feature appetizers with perfectly paired wines in the restaurant’s private dining room. Tickets are $45 per guest through August 5, $60 after August 5 (excluding tax and gratuity). A portion of the ticket price benefits the Shades of Pink Foundation.
